About Didi Ji

Sushri Siddheshvari Devi Ji

Siddheshvari Devi Ji (Didi Ji) was born in the northern part of India. Even as a little girl, she derived great happiness while visiting places of worship. Her formative years were spent in Canada, and as a teenager, she was contemplating the purpose of life and the phenomenon of death. Convinced that life has a much higher purpose than merely eating, sleeping and accumulating wealth, she was not attracted in the least by the promise of a financially rewarding career.

Didi Ji graduated from York University in Toronto with an Honors degree in Linguistics. After graduation, Didi Ji’s spiritual quest led her to Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. Didi Ji made a pilgrimage to India, spent two years in Bhakti Dham Ashram and learned directly from Shri Maharaj Ji the intricate mysteries of the Vedas and other scriptures. Shri Maharaj Ji declared during her very first visit that He would grant her the service of preaching His message to the West. She began performing this service in 1987.

Didi Ji is the founder of Radha Madhav Society, a non-profit charitable organization which is a branch of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat.

Didi Ji continuously strives to spread the deep spiritual teachings of Hinduism and dispel the myths and misconceptions related to it. She is an eloquent speaker whose mission is to simplify the eternal message of the Vedas and Shastras and awaken love for God within the hearts of seeking souls. Didi Ji’s preaching is concentrated in the US, Canada and the West Indies, although she visits other parts of the world when time allows. She has inspired and transformed the lives of thousands around the globe.

With a mixture of eastern background and western upbringing, Didi Ji inspires adults, teens and children alike through her lectures, chanting, youth camps, workshops and devotional retreats in various parts of the U.S. and the world.
